If You're Driving....
We are 7-8 hours from Seattle, Washington,
and 9-10 hours from Portland, Oregon.
If arriving on Vancouver Island from Victoria, head north over
the Malahat Drive onto Nanaimo's
Parkway Bypass, then past
Parksville, and when you approach Qualicum, take the Hwy
4 turn-off. Head west to Port
Alberni which is a short 50km (31
mi) drive, and continue on to the Ucluelet/Tofino
"T" intersection.
Turn left and follow the Pacific Rim Hwy. into the town of
Ucluelet. Turn left after the 'Canadian Princess' onto Lychee
Road, and left again onto Hemlock
Road, and an immediate left
into the Ucluelet Small Craft Harbour (Boat Basin) parking
lot.
If arriving at Comox Airport or Campbell
River Airport, head
south on the Island Highway and when you approach Qualicum,
take the Hwy 4 turn-off west to Port
Alberni as per above paragraph's
directions.

Ferries (Tsawwassen
or Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo or Victoria)
BC Ferries operates car and passenger ferries from Vancouver to Vancouver
Island. There are hourly (7am till 9pm) sailings during the summer months
and every 2 hours in the off-season. Routes to the Island depart from either
Tsawwassen and arrive at Duke Point (Nanaimo) or Swartz Bay (Victoria),
or from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver to Nanaimo's Departure Bay. You
can call ahead and make a reservation to guarantee a spot on a sailing.
Black
Ball Ferry (Port Angeles to Victoria)
A car and passenger ferry connecting Port Angeles, Washington with downtown
Victoria. Black Ball Ferry offers 4 sailings daily during the summer months
and 2 daily sailings during the off-season. No reservations so arrive early
to secure the sailing time of your choice.
Washington State Ferries (Anacortes to Sidney)
A car and passenger ferry connecting
Anacortes, Washington to Sydney, Vancouver Island. Crossing time
is just over 2 hours and sailings are twice a day during the summer
and once per day during the off-season. No reservations so arrive
early to ensure the sailing time of your choice.
Victoria Clipper (Seattle to Victoria).
This service offers passenger only, high speed ferries from downtown Seattle
to downtown Victoria. Crossing time is 2½ hrs. The Victoria Clipper
offers 3 or 4 sailings in the summer and 2 sailings in the off-season.

Bus
Daily express bus service from Victoria to Nanaimo and
then to Ucluelet and Tofino.

Air Canada flies from Vancouver to Nanaimo Airport.
Orca
Orca Airways flies from Vancouver to Ucluelet and Tofino.

Harbour Air flies several flights per day between Vancouver and Victoria,
Vancouver and Nanaimo
WestJet
WestJet has direct flights into Comox from locations in Canada and
the USA. From Comox it is a scenic 2 hour drive to Ucluelet.
West Coast Air
West Coast Air offers many daily flights from downtown Vancouver or Vancouver
International Airport to downtown Victoria by Twin Otter float planes.

Horizon Air flies daily from Seattle to Victoria airport on DH-8 aircraft.
