Boat & Gear
We
operate a 25' Grady-White Dolphin 'THE LONGSTONE' which
is fully equipped with twin Yamaha 200HP motors, a 9.9 trolling
motor, Radar, 2 Depth Sounders, GPS - 2 fixed and 1
portable, and a fixed and portable VHF Radio. (We like backups!)
We
are certified by Transport Canada with a 60-ton Marine
Masters Certificate for the West Coast of Vancouver
Island. We also
hold a Marine Enhanced First Aid Certificate,
and Industry
Canada Marine Radio Licence.
The boat is equipped with Salmon and
Halibut fishing rods and Shimano levelwind reels. If single
action reels are preferred, we can use beautiful Hardy Longstone
reels to suit.
When the conditions are right later in the season, we can take
you to some saltwater coho fly fishing. Our vessel is
a walk-around design and two can cast from either end of the
vessel, or we can bucktail at a fast troll for some spectacular
action.

on scenic excursions and whale-watching adventures around Ucluelet or
in Barkley Sound. Let us know what you desire and we will make suitable
